Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and technically sound fresher to join our team as a Broadcast Engineer. This role is ideal for recent graduates in electronics, telecommunications, or related fields who are eager to start their careers in the exciting world of broadcasting and media technology. You will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and setting up broadcast equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of broadcast systems including cameras, audio mixers, video switchers, encoders, and transmission systems.
Monitor on-air signals and troubleshoot signal issues.
Provide technical support during live broadcasts, recordings, and post-production.
Help ensure all broadcast and recording equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Support studio and field operations as needed.
Maintain logs and documentation as required by regulatory bodies (e.g., FCC, TRAI).
Collaborate with production and IT teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills:
• Solid foundational knowledge in electronics, signal processing, and networking.
Familiarity with audio/video equipment and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Basic understanding of IP-based broadcasting and streaming technologies.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Valuable communication skills and a team-oriented mind-set. Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Broadcast Technology, Telecommunication, or a related field.
