Key Responsibilities
Receiving washing and decontamination of instruments.
Packing of instruments Sterilizing and validation.
Storing and distribution of sterile items to user areas.
Preparation of various dressing materialsCleaning the Department according to the protocol.
Maintenance of the equipment.
Record maintenance of all the batches & Batch monitoring
To provide sterile instruments and other sterile items used in patient care.
To maintain records of the effectiveness of the procedures used in disinfection and sterilization.Immediate escalation of any failure of sterilizer or failure of batch or biological indicators.
To be aware of NABH standards and maintain documentation accordingly.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
