Company Description Freedom Employability Academy (FEA) is a non-profit organization focused on providing disadvantaged youth in India with a path to qualified jobs through free, intensive one-year coaching programs. Role Description The Teacher role at FEA in Pilibhit is a full time, in office position responsible for delivering FEA’s curriculum to young adult learners in a classroom setting. The Teacher will plan and conduct daily lessons that build English language skills, non-cognitive skills, digital literacy, and employability competencies, using interactive and learner-centered methods.
Responsibilities include facilitating group discussions, monitoring student progress, providing feedback, maintaining classroom discipline, and supporting students’ confidence and motivation. The Teacher will also complete basic administrative tasks such as attendance, reporting, and coordination with branch leadership, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and ethical learning environment.
Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience facilitating learning for youth or young adults.
Ability to design and adapt Lesson Planning to meet diverse learner needs and program objectives.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and effective classroom interaction.
Experience in Training or coaching, especially in skills development, employability, or youth empowerment.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, English, or Social Sciences is an advantage.
Comfort with basic digital tools and willingness to use technology in teaching.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a learner-centered mindset, with commitment to equity and inclusion.
Prior experience working in low-income or disadvantaged communities is a plus.
