Job Summary

We are looking for a talented technical writer to help create quality documentation for software applications. The technical writer will consult with business analysts, developers, testers and implementation teams to prepare user guide, implementation guide, and support guide. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and an creative thinker with strong focus on quality and continuous focus on improving existing processes.

Core Duties
Writing complex documentation for software
Working with software development teams designing and implementing powerful product Tours
In-depth knowledge of developing online help and web-based documentation with a strong understanding of HTML
Presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference.
Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation.
Prioritizing and understanding the lifecycle of documentation from pre-release through on-going maintenance.
Should have high level understanding of IT concepts including software architecture
Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing; obsessive eye for consistency and technical accuracy.
Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, workflows,



graphs, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness and ability to collaborate with multiple SMEs from different backgrounds
Experience in developing technical documents for Software product is must. Experience in SaaS based product is value added

Frame Maker, Arbor text Editor, MS Office, DITA, Robo help, Photoshop, MS Visio, SnagIT, ST4.

Education
Bachelor's degree in technical writing, journalism, communications, or a related field
7+ years of experience required in an IT development workplace.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Excellent written skills in English
Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office
