Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of experience

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Chemical Engineering graduates to join our Preform Plant as Trainee Production Engineers. The selected candidates will undergo structured training in silica preform manufacturing processes, production operations, process monitoring, quality standards, safety practices, and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in day-to-day production activities of the Preform Plant.
Learn and monitor various stages of silica preform manufacturing.
Operate and monitor production equipment under the guidance of senior engineers.
Record and maintain production data, process parameters, and shift reports.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Support troubleshooting of production and process-related issues.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Utility teams for smooth plant operations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce process losses.
Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Required Skills




Basic knowledge of chemical engineering principles and industrial processes.
Understanding of heat transfer, mass transfer, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Solid learning attitude and adaptability.

Preferred Knowledge Exposure to any of the following will be an added advantage:
Chemical process plants
Gas handling systems
High-temperature furnaces
Process instrumentation
Industrial safety practices
Lean Manufacturing or 5S concepts

Training Exposure During the training period, candidates will gain hands-on experience in:
Silica Preform Manufacturing Process (OVD/VAD/MCVD process exposure, as applicable)
Process parameter monitoring and optimization
Furnace operations
Chemical handling and gas systems
Production planning and reporting
Quality control and process documentation
EHS and plant safety practices
