Role Description The Verification Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves conducting detailed background checks across education, employment, criminal records, credit, and other verification services, following established protocols and compliance standards.

The Verification

Specialist will review and analyze documentation, validate information with institutions and employers, and accurately record outcomes in internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing case queues,



communicating with clients and third parties in a skilled manner, resolving discrepancies, and escalating complex cases as needed. The role also involves collaborating with the customer service and operations teams to ensure timely turnaround, high-quality reporting, and continuous improvement of verification processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify inconsistencies, and make evidence-based decisions.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and professionally with clients, institutions, and internal teams.

Candidates should possess Formal Verification skills, including adherence to defined procedures, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency with MS Office and online research tools, along with strong attention to detail and time management abilities.

Experience in background screening, compliance, insurance, or financial services is an advantage.

Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, collaborate in a team-driven environment, and maintain high ethical standards.
