JD:
Support for obsolescence case management and demand planning.
Determine Lifetime Buy (LTB) quantities based on OEM forecasts and repair
demand to ensure optimal inventory planning.
Develop and execute obsolescence mitigation strategies at LRU level, optimizing
LTB decisions and minimizing excess inventory.
Ensure continuous supply of critical aircraft components, preventing production
stoppages and maintain operational continuity.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date lifecycle and obsolescence data, while
providing timely status communication to GBE and Contract Manufacturers (CM).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, supply chain,
and manufacturing)
to define and implement effective obsolescence strategies.
Work closely with GBE teams to identify and classify LRUs for third-party
licensing, supporting business continuity and alternate sourcing strategies.
Act as a key technical liaison between GBE, suppliers, and manufacturing teams
to manage cost, schedule, and technical alignment.
Manage end-to-end aircraft hardware obsolescence cases, from part
discontinuation to final qualification of replacement solutions.
Proactively identified supply chain risks and implemented mitigation actions,
including LTB execution and sourcing form-fit-function alternatives.
