Role Overview &
Core Responsibilities
Agriwater Infrastructure &
Construction Oversight:
Monitor construction and installation of agricultural water systems (drip, sprinkler, canals, and pump stations) to match engineering designs.
Ensure civil and hydraulic works comply with water conservation standards and environmental protection rules.
Check soil water requirements, flow rates, pipe sizing, and drainage controls to prevent waterlogging on site.
Training &
Capacity Building:
Design training programs for site engineers, construction workers, and local water user groups on system operation and maintenance.
Create manuals, guides, and practical in office workshops covering smart irrigation technology.
Assess skills gaps and track the progress of operational teams transitioning into completed project sites.
Key Requirements &
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Rural Development /Agronomy
Experience: 8+ years working on water infrastructure construction, rural development, or sustainable agricultural projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydraulic planning tools (AutoCAD, WaterCAD, GIS) and construction contract management.
Soft Skills: Adult learning facilitation, cross-cultural communication, and in office crisis management.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per year
