Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. This role is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience who have a basic understanding of software testing and are eager to build a career in QA.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases and record test results accurately.
Identify, document, and track software defects.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Work closely with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.
Ensure applications meet quality and functional standards.
Maintain testing documentation and reports.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of Test Cases, Defect Life Cycle, and Bug Reporting.
Basic knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools is preferred.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc/MCA/M.Sc IT).
Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Software Testing certification is an added advantage.
