The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in operating conventional or lathe machines and should be able to perform turning operations accurately as per technical drawings and required specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate lathe and turning machines safely and efficiently.
Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and other machining operations. Read and understand basic engineering drawings and job specifications. Set up machines and select appropriate tools for machining operations.
Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Ensure components meet required dimensions and quality standards. Perform basic machine maintenance and report any technical issues.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
Follow production schedules and complete assigned work within deadlines. RequirementsMinimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Turner. ITI or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
Good knowledge of lathe machine operations and turning processes. Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings. Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality checking. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
