Role Description The Turner will operate and set up conventional and/or CNC turning machines to machine Cylinder Head Castings and related components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, measuring workpieces, selecting appropriate tools, and performing precision turning operations to achieve required dimensions and tolerance.

The role also involves routine machine maintenance, monitoring tool wear, ensuring protected working practices,



and coordinating with production and quality teams to meet output and quality targets. The Turner will document work performed, report issues with machinery or materials, and contribute to continuous improvement in machining processes.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of turning operations, machining processes for castings, and familiarity with conventional and/or CNC lathes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and process sheets with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators for precision inspection.
Willingness to work in office in Kolhapur and adapt to shift-based operations as required by production demands.
