Role Description The Video Editor Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The trainee will assist in editing and producing video content for personal branding and growth marketing campaigns, including social media clips, promotional videos, and storytelling pieces. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, assembling rough cuts, refining edits, adding transitions and basic effects,



and supporting color correction and sound alignment.

The role involves close collaboration with video producers, designers, and content strategists to ensure visual consistency with client brand guidelines. The trainee will also help prepare videos for different platforms and formats, follow project timelines, and be open to feedback and learning to develop professional video editing skills.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and basic understanding of video workflows.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Color Grading to create polished, visually consistent content.

Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.

Basic proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is preferred.

Robust attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and willingness to learn in a rapid-paced agency setting.

Ability to collaborate effectively, follow creative direction, and manage time across multiple projects.

Relevant coursework, certifications, or a portfolio showcasing video or motion work will be considered an advantage.
