Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, dbt, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and experience building scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
Build and optimize ELT/ETL workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimizations.
Implement and maintain data models following best practices.
Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar schedulers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment and version control of data engineering projects.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing data pipelines.

Required Skills




5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong SQL programming skills.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensions, Facts, SCDs, etc.).
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
Experience with orchestration/scheduling tools such as Airflow or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
Experience working on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Positive understanding of data modelling and performance tuning.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Valuable to Have
Python programming.
Experience with Git and version control.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
Experience working with large-scale data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Snowflake and/or cloud certifications are an added advantage.
