Deadlines: Ensure all bid clarifications, queries, and final submissions are turned in well ahead of strict client deadlines.
Cost Analysis and Pricing Strategy
Material Costing: Source current pricing for all electrical materials by sending enquiries to manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
Labor Estimation: Calculate the required manpower hours based on historical company productivity rates and project complexity.
Indirect Costs:
Estimate expenses for site setup, safety gear, specialized tools, testing, and commissioning.

Take-offs and Quantity Surveys (Post Award):
Drawing Analysis: Thoroughly study electrical layouts, schematic drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and project specifications.
Quantity Counting: Measure and count every physical component required, including conduits, cables, switchgear, fixtures, transformers, and earthing systems.
Data Input: Input all quantities accurately into estimation software or spreadsheets to build a comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ).Role & responsibilities
