Key Responsibilities
Perform analysis of drinking water, wastewater and other environmental water samples.
Conduct physicochemical testing including pH, Conductivity, TDS, TSS, Turbidity, Hardness, Alkalinity, Acidity, Chloride, Sulphate, Nitrate, Fluoride, Ammonia, COD, BOD, DO, Oil & Grease, and other relevant parameters.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, TOC Analyzer, COD Digester, BOD Incubator, Turbidity Meter, pH Meter, Conductivity Meter, and other analytical equipment.
Perform calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Prepare reagents, standards, calibration solutions, and quality control samples.
Record observations accurately in laboratory worksheets, logbooks, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), where applicable.
Review analytical data for accuracy and compliance with acceptance criteria before reporting.
Adhere to NABL ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, laboratory SOPs, and quality assurance procedures.
Ensure proper sample handling, storage, preservation,



and disposal as per laboratory procedures.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and valuable laboratory practices (GLP).
Report deviations, non-conformities, instrument malfunctions, and quality issues to the Laboratory Manager.
Support internal and external NABL assessments, audits, and customer inspections.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related scientific discipline.

Experience
1–3 years of experience in an environmental or water testing laboratory.
Experience working in an NABL-accredited laboratory is preferred.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 quality management requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
