Role & responsibilities
Individuals can work autonomously in a demanding and often ambiguous setting.
Review and process mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Perform a preliminary credit check and affordability assessment using client income and expenditure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during the processing stage.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation, including fact find, income verification, credit reports, property appraisals, and other necessary paperwork.
Ensure all mortgage applications comply with UK regulations and lender guidelines.
Work closely with mortgage brokers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the timely and productive processing of mortgage applications.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all mortgage applications and related documents.
Identify and address any outstanding requirements,



issues or discrepancies in the application process, working proactively to find solutions.
Provide regular updates to management on the status of mortgage applications and highlight any potential bottlenecks.
Experience working with different lenders and lodging applications on lender portals and coordinating for Valuation and Survey.
Experience in Refinancing, Remortgaging, Valuation and rate review.
Experience working with UK Mortgage Brokers/Finance Brokers.
Experience working on aggregator Software

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's and Master's degree in business, finance or accounting field.
Proficiency in Excel and proven analytical skills.
Knowledge of MS Office Skill Set Required.
Proficient in English Language- both written and Oral.
Valuable communication skills and Team player.
