Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support uninterrupted production
Analyze customer schedules, historical data, ERP systems, and planning tools for demand forecasting
Support inventory management and replenishment strategies
Manage inbound logistics, transportation planning, and Shipping & Receiving Board activities
Coordinate with suppliers for order confirmations, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
Maintain accurate ERP / MRP master data and planning parameters
Proactively mitigate supply risks to avoid shortages or production delays
Ensure compliance with customer-specific logistics and delivery requirements
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance
Support engineering changes, product launches, ramp-ups, aftermarket, and End-of-Business planning activities
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in material planning and control within high-volume manufacturing environments
Strong exposure to SAP ERP systems (MM / PP / WM)
Experience with MRP execution, material availability checks, and shortage resolution
Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting)
Experience in supplier coordination, inbound logistics, and inventory management
Added Advantage
Exposure to JIT / JIS logistics
E-Kanban / RFID / digital replenishment systems
EDI systems, MES systems
Power BI / Tableau
Lean Six Sigma tools
Automotive / Tier-1 supplier setting exposure
Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards
Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Relevant hands-on experience in material planning or supply chain operations may also be considered.
