Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join as a Senior Associate in the Accounts Payable (AP) function. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in managing end-to-end AP processes along with hands-on experience in Statutory audit and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of financial controls, vendor management, and process improvements within a dynamic and rapid-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (End-to-End):
Manage the complete AP cycle including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, payments, and reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice booking and payment processing
Handle vendor queries and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in AP
Audit & Compliance:
Support external audits related to AP processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards,
and regulatory requirements
Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions
Financial Controls & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX/compliance frameworks (if applicable)
Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP
Prepare reports, reconciliations, and MIS as required by management
Qualifications & Skills
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Experience: 3 +years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and audit
Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes
Prior experience in audit (internal/external) is essential
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) preferred
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
