Job Description – Area Manager (Health Insurance Sales)

Location: Guwahati

Experience Required: Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Health Insurance Sales with team handling experience.

Role Summary

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager to lead and drive business growth across the assigned territory. The incumbent will be responsible for managing sales teams, achieving business targets, driving productivity, and ensuring operational excellence within the Health Insurance business.

Key Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and achieve assigned business targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
Monitor team productivity and implement strategies to improve performance.
Ensure adherence to sales processes, compliance standards, and company policies.
Analyze sales performance, identify business opportunities, and develop action plans.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and field visits.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Health Insurance Sales.
Prior experience in team handling is mandatory.
Robust leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Good understanding of the Health Insurance market and sales operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, target-driven environment.

Mandatory Requirement

Candidates must be fluent in the regional language (Assamese) – Speak. Applications without Assamese language proficiency will not be considered.

Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline (Mandatory)
MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
