Job description:

We are looking for Fashion Designer who can design ready to wear women's wear clothing and create original designs or adapt fashion trends, to meet customer and market requirements.

Responsibilities include:
Direct and coordinate workers involved in drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments.
Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements.
Confer with sales and management executives or with clients in order to discuss design ideas.
Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender, and socioeconomic status.
Attend fashion shows and review garment magazines, internet websites and manuals in order to gather information about fashion trends and consumer preferences.




Select materials and production techniques to be used for products
Adapt existing designs for the mass market
Determine prices for styles
Visit textile showrooms to keep up-to-date on the latest fabrics
Collaborate with other designers to coordinate special products and designs.
Test fabrics or oversee testing so that garment care labels can be created

Required Candidate profile
Detailed knowledge of Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator and other related software.
Technical skills in areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment construction
An eye for color, texture and pattern
Time Management and organizing skills in order to meet sampling deadlines.
One or more years of responsibility related experience in women's wear field.
