Academic Advisor/Counselor
We are searching for proactive individuals who are passionate about assisting working professionals as they progress through various stages of their career. Academic Advisors will assist interested participants choosing right courses/programmes basis their strengths or chance areas and help them work towards careers growth. Academic Advisors will communicate regularly with participants, maintain records of their enrolment and intervene wherever required.

Successful Academic Advisors will have extensive knowledge about their subjects and institution and a strong desire to assist in participants development. Ideal candidates will be caring, organized, communicative, and accessible.

Academic Advisor Responsibilities:
• Discussing career and educational goals with interested participants.
• Aiding in the course selection process to ensure progress towards participants goals.
• Displaying an interest in participants development.
• Maintaining updated reports on participants.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of courses and programmes.
• Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.
• Collaborate with trainers and administrators in the development,



evaluation, and revision of programmes.

Academic Advisor Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree may be preferred.
• Min two years’ experience desirable.
• Should be comfortable making calls to prospective participants.
• Comfortable in talking and handling interested participants on phone call.
• Experience in skilled counseling, development, education, or related field will be preferred.
• Robust communication (fluency in spoken and written English is a must) and interpersonal skills specifically interacting with senior corporate executives
• Basic knowledge of computers, LMS and online marketing
• Ability to maintain accurate and updated records concerning to participants.
• A desire to help participants in their academic journey, from handling leads and enrollment.
• Ability to operate within a wide range of participant personalities and backgrounds.
• Interview clients to obtain information about employment history, educational background, and career goals, and to identify barriers to career growth.
