Key Responsibilities:
Assume the role of Software Engineer with responsibilities to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support current and existing vehicle products and enhancements.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products using agile and test-driven development
Required to work with the Technical Product Manager to contribute to shaping the technology and tooling direction of the product and Vehicle Software Updates product
Review and support product defect analysis
Participate in integrated testing across the Connected Vehicle ecosystem to ensure end-to-end product
Directly contribute to development activities utilizing Software Craftsmanship/Clean Code/Extreme Programming
Qualifications:
Required:
BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
5+ years of Java development
3+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework
3+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD, etc).
3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile
2+ years of experience with Cloud settings (GCP, Azure)
Nice to have skills:
Solid communication and collaboration
Familiarity with Graph DB solutions (e.g. neo4j)
Familiarity with other common programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python)
Development experience in multiple programming environments (Mobile, Vehicle, Cloud)
API Development, including OAuth2
Understanding of in-vehicle architectures
