Job Role:

As a .Net Developer you are expected to be an active participant in helping the team meet our sprint deliverables.
You will do this by working with Business Analysts, developers and technical architects to develop and build solutions, migrate existing products to new platforms and customize our products for client-specific needs.
This will involve understanding requirements, questioning assumptions and solving problems to ensure that the code written meets the specification whilst adhering to coding standards.
You will use your technical abilities to help develop, maintain and troubleshoot current development and existing systems.
You will work to reproduce the root cause of issues to fix the problem and not just the manifestations of the issue in the system.
What youll deliver:
High quality code achieving the needs of the requirements Estimates for new work based on information given around the requirements Work with QA and UI/UX teams to insure a consistent look, feel and quality of the system
An adherence to coding standards and high-quality code
A willingness to question requirements and ensure that whats being delivered is fit for purpose & consistent with the rest of the system Fixes to existing bugs, either raised internally, by clients or noticed in day to day work
A focus on security and system permissions to minimise risks of bugs in current code
A positive attitude & team mentality Regular updates of progress and any potential impacts to the deadline Its essential that you are: Proficient in .Net development Proficient in SQL Proficient in Web/Javascript/CSS Knowledgeable of Azure and its offerings A team player A good communicator
It is desirable that you have: Recent commercial experience of developing, maintaining and releasing .NET applications in live environments
An understanding of cloud technologies (preferably Azure)/ Micro services /.NET Core and how they are used in contemporary applications
A desire to learn and further the knowledge of the team Knowledge of design patterns.
