v Job Description: Offshore Structural Designer/Lead Designer

v Educational Qualification:
ITI Draughtsman / Diploma/Bachelor Engineering (Civil / Mechanical) having 5 to 15 years’ experience in EPCC / EPCM Company in Oil & Gas Sector, with minimum 5 years relevant experience in offshore industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Being responsible for 3 modelling & Drawing generation & verification of Fixed/FPSO Topside modules, MTO & Cost control, and Schedule & MH control.
Is accountable for technical integrity of structural engineering activities and deliverables.
Interface coordination and meetings on critical issues with Client / Vendor’s / Class authorities / Construction Fabrication Yards / Project / other Engineering departments.
Review of contract document, obtain clarifications vide technical queries and ensure that all the team members are aware of contract conditions.




Checking of 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM,
Required Skills:
Candidate must hold sound knowledge of TEKLA, S3D, E3D and Navis Works software.
Must be familiar with design specifications and Codes AISC, API RP2A, DNV, NORSOK, Eurocodes, Conceptual study, FEED & other studies.
Must be familiar with detailing requirement and review different type of preservice and in service analysis for Topside module’s (In-Place, lifting, Barge Transportation, Load-Out).
Shall be able to model & review connection of offshore structures.
Conversant with safety standards of structural elements like Stairs, Ladders, Handrails etc.
Review of Weight Control Report (WCR)
Experience of interdisciplinary 3D model reviews, constructability review.
