We're looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex engineering requirements into accurate technical drawings and 3D models. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.
Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and design specifications
Analyze design requirements and develop productive solutions that optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
Conduct design reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to tolerance and GD&T; standards
Collaborate with product engineers, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders to refine designs and resolve technical challenges
Maintain organized design documentation, version control, and project files in accordance with company standards and procedures
Perform design modifications and iterations based on testing results, feedback, and engineering analysis
Support the development of design guidelines and best practices to enhance team efficiency and consistency
Mentor junior CAD engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows
