Solino Home is hiring for the role of a textile designer to work on home furnishing designs for their clients & brands for the US & European Market. The product line that we are looking for would be :

Table & Kitchen Textiles

Living Room Textiles

Bed & Bath
Create designs and pieces that complement the brand ethos

Strong knowledge of the latest international design trends

Keeping up to date and spotting trends in fabric & home furnishing designs by researching trade magazines and by leveraging social media.

Producing sketches, worked-up designs and samples for presentation to customers

Working out design formulae for a group of samples.

Assessing and approving completed items and production standards.

Creating multiple colorways for all textile prints.

Performing graphics design duties on brochures and catalogues if needed for the brand.

Understand the latest trends in surface development techniques and develop fresh concepts based on seasonal themes.

Coordinating with merchandisers and buyers.

Concept development in prints and embroideries.

Ability to scan through textile trend forecasting websites,



catalogues and competitor websites to analyse document trends as per buyer.

The capability to work on designs based on a given target price, rework on designs to cut costs without losing aesthetics of original design

Positive knowledge about weaving techniques as well as various fabric qualities.

Also must know of various aspects of printing as well as value additions that include embroidery

Ability to follow up on entire process till completion of final product, solve any technical issues and ability to document and record all designs.
Good communication and team working skills.

Design skills and the ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages.

Ability to work to deadlines and a budget.

Certified Courses in Designing Institute / Software i.e. Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc.

Should have Good knowledge of Textile designing.

Should have the ability to interpret and represent client's ideas accurately.

Must have positive sense of colour combination. Must be able to create recent patterns & also colour separation, repeats knowledge.
