Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Principal Technician- Roads to join our infrastructure team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will oversee the technical aspects of road construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, managing in office operations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical expertise in road infrastructure, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Oversee daily road construction and maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines
Conduct quality control inspections and testing of road materials, including asphalt, concrete, and aggregates, using appropriate testing equipment
Analyze site conditions, survey data,



and project requirements to develop technical solutions and recommendations
Manage and coordinate with equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution
Monitor compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and local traffic management requirements
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including progress reports, material test results, and site inspection records
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in office and implement corrective actions promptly
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize resource allocation and project scheduling
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of surveying and testing equipment
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and technical standards
