Building software installers based on inputs from the team that does development and configurations
Automation of system builds (install windows, system drivers, POS hardware drivers, Aptos POS software, third part sw, configure windows, troubleshoot windows etc).
They are knowledgeable about our POS software from a technical perspective
They are knowledgeable as to how to make a hardware stack work together - from PC/OS/drivers/pos peripherals etc.
They are knowledgeable about virtualization, especially in these work from home times is this critical

Grade (1 to 4) Skill
Powershell Scripting experience
Other scripting experience (provide language and grade)
Experience with system imaging (capturing, managing/maintaining, applying)
Windows installation/deployment - manual installations
Windows installation - automated using tools such as SCCM, MDT etc
System administration & support (how Microsoft Windows works under the covers - registry,



services, group policy, logs, dependencies, licensing)
Experience configuring, working with and troubleshooting computer hardware
Experience with software version control solutions
Experience with Retail Point of Sale peripheral hardware (receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers etc)
Experience with Payment hardware & software (Verifone & Ingenico hardware, Aurus, Adyen or similar solutions, understanding of EMV)
Experience with relevant data security standards and regulatory compliance
Experience with Mobile Devices - iOS & Android, management via MDM, software deployments, policies
Experience with configuration management tools like (chef, ansible etc)
