As a Power Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of power plants. You will also be responsible for the development of recent power plant technologies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in the power plant industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and oversee the construction of new power plants or the expansion of existing ones
Conduct feasibility studies to determine whether a proposed project is economically viable
Develop cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
Prepare reports and presentations for upper management, shareholders, government agencies,



and the general public
Manage and coordinate the work of other engineers, technicians, and support staff
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Monitor plant operations and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and productive use of resources
Investigate and troubleshoot problems with plant equipment and systems
Develop plans for the replacement of aging equipment and the implementation of recent technologies
Keep abreast of advances in technology and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies
Assist in the development and implementation of environmental protection policies
Provide training and mentorship to less experienced engineers
