Job Details: Designation: Area Business Manager (ABM) Job Location: Coimbatore Role Objective: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Business Manager to lead and grow the OTC business across South Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire territory through a retail-driven sales model, leading a field sales team, driving secondary sales, and ensuring solid coverage of chemists and retail outlets. Key Responsibilities: • Drive sales growth and achieve business targets for the assigned territory.
• Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of field sales representatives.
• Ensure effective coverage and productivity of the team across the territory.
• Drive secondary sales through solid retail execution and outlet activation.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with chemists, retailers, and key trade partners.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and promotion at retail outlets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.




• Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members to improve performance.
• Track territory performance and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure timely reporting, review of sales performance, and adherence to company processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business growth and market expansion. Eligibility Criteria: • Qualification: Graduate (Mandatory)
• Age: Up to 40 Years
• Experience: Must be from an OTC background only.
• Must currently be handling a team in a retail-driven sales model.
• Strong experience in chemist coverage, retail sales execution, and secondary sales generation.
• Candidates from prescription/doctor-call-focused pharmaceutical sales roles will not be considered.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing field teams.
• Prior experience in consumer healthcare, OTC, wellness, or self-care products will be preferred.
