Role Description The Catering Sales Manager is a full time, on-site role based at Park Elanza in Chennai. This role is responsible for generating and managing catering and event business, including corporate functions, social events, weddings, and special occasions. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, and negotiating contracts that align with hotel revenue goals. The Catering Sales Manager collaborates closely with the food and beverage and operations teams to plan event details, ensure accurate event orders, and oversee execution to deliver outstanding guest experiences.



The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, monitoring customer satisfaction, and proactively resolving service issues to uphold Park Elanza's luxury standards.

Qualifications
Solid expertise in Catering Sales and Food & Beverage, including menu knowledge and banquet service coordination.
Proficiency in Event Planning and execution, with experience organizing corporate, social, and wedding events.
Demonstrated strengths in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with an ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a professional and collaborative working style.
Prior experience in hotel catering sales or event management, preferably within upscale or luxury hospitality.
Ability to work in office in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and meet revenue and profitability targets.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Working knowledge of sales CRM tools and basic MS Office applications is an advantage.
