Core Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical malfunctions in HVAC systems (e.g., chillers, VRF/VRV, and split AC units).
Repairs & Maintenance: Perform critical repairs including compressor replacements, motor repairs, and refrigerant leak testing.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide junior technicians and helpers in office, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety codes, company policies, and environmental regulations regarding refrigerant handling.
Customer Service: Interact with clients to explain system issues, provide repair estimates, and recommend efficiency upgrades.
Key Qualifications
Experience: Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC or refrigeration systems.
Education:
ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to read complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Soft Skills: Robust problem-solving abilities, team leadership, and effective communication skills.
