Job Summary:
A Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapist assesses, treats, and rehabilitates patients with cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. The role involves improving patients' functional capacity, breathing efficiency, exercise tolerance, and quality of life through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities
Assess patients with cardiac and pulmonary disorders using standardized evaluation methods.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Provide chest physiotherapy, airway clearance techniques, breathing exercises, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Conduct cardiac rehabilitation for patients following myocardial infarction, angioplasty, CABG, valve surgery, or heart failure.
Monitor vital signs (heart rate,



blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate) during treatment.
Manage ICU and post-operative patients, including early mobilization and respiratory care.
Educate patients and caregivers on breathing techniques, energy conservation, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare specialists.
Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
