Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also contributing to strategic decisions that impact the overall data architecture of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME.
Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
Qualified & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
Valuable To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Scala, PySpark.
Solid understanding of database management systems and their architecture.
Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
