Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the mining company. The role includes maintaining financial records, processing payments, handling taxation and statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with budgeting and cost control related to mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger accounts.
Prepare and process purchase vouchers, sales vouchers, payment vouchers, and receipts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, royalty payments, and statutory compliances.
Maintain records related to mining operations, transportation, diesel consumption, and operational expenses.
Prepare invoices, billing statements, and payment schedules.
Assist in internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits.
Prepare MIS reports, budgeting reports, and management reports.
Coordinate with operations, procurement,



stores, and management teams.
Maintain inventory and asset accounting records.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Required Qualifications
B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in mining, minerals, steel, or manufacturing industries.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, payroll processing, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally, ERP, SAP, and MS Excel.

Reporting To

Finance Manager / Accounts Head / Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
