Job Description – Service Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Industry Preference: FMCG / Food & Beverage / Packaging / Industrial Automation

Travel: Pan India (Short Notice)

Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial equipment at customer sites.
Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, configure, and test equipment to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Provide in office and remote technical support to customers and ensure timely issue resolution.
Conduct equipment inspections and pre-installation assessments before commissioning.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications.
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records,



and documentation after every service visit.
Coordinate with internal engineering, service, and spare parts teams for technical support and issue resolution.
Recommend spare parts, wear parts, and preventive maintenance solutions to customers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and customer site regulations.
Maintain service tools, testing instruments, and equipment in proper working condition.
Provide technical assistance to fellow service engineers and technicians when required.
Be available for extensive Pan India travel, including short-notice assignments and occasional weekend or holiday support.
