Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process customer invoices, supplier payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) records.
Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue payments.
Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support inventory accounting by reconciling raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventories.
Assist in cost accounting, including monitoring production costs, material costs, labor costs, and manufacturing overhead.
Coordinate with the Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Process employee expense claims and petty cash transactions.
Prepare GST/VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
Generate financial and management reports for decision-making.
Identify prospects to improve financial processes and internal controls.
