Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup:Preparing CNC machines for production by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Programming and Adjustments:Making necessary adjustments to machine parameters (speeds, feeds, offsets) and potentially performing basic CNC programming to ensure accurate and efficient machining.
Quality Control:Conducting first-piece inspections and using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify that parts meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving issues that arise during machine operation, minimizing downtime and maintaining production flow.
Maintenance:Performing routine checks on machines, maintaining tooling inventory, and ensuring a clean and secure work environment.
Collaboration:Working closely with programmers, operators, and other team members to optimize production and meet deadlines.
Safety:Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a protected working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and programming concepts.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Problem-Solving: Aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues and finding solutions.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with team members and reporting issues.
Experience: Typically requires several years of experience in setting up and operating CNC machines.
Qualification: ITI/Diploma holder can be apply
