Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing.
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
Support payroll processing and tax-related activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.




Assist senior accountants and the finance manager with various accounting tasks.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Tally).
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of GST, or other local tax regulations.
Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
