Assist in the assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergency and trauma patients.
Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and assist in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) procedures.
Prepare and maintain emergency equipment such as defibrillators, suction machines, ventilators, monitors, and oxygen delivery systems.
Assist physicians during emergency procedures including intubation, CPR, wound management, fracture stabilization, and trauma care.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and promptly report abnormalities.
Assist in patient transportation within the hospital while ensuring patient safety.
Prepare emergency treatment rooms and trauma bays for incoming patients.
Maintain adequate stock of emergency drugs, consumables, and medical supplies.
Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed in all emergency procedures.
Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
Respond promptly to Code Blue and other hospital emergency calls.
Assist in disaster management, mass casualty incidents, and emergency preparedness drills.
Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal according to hospital policies.
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration checks of emergency equipment.
