About the Role

We are hiring a Chartered Accountant with solid exposure to legal, regulatory, and compliance work to join our finance team. This role sits at the intersection of finance and law, ideal for a CA who has handled contract review, tax litigation, corporate compliance, or regulatory filings alongside core accounting work.

Key Responsibilities
Manage statutory compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and FEMA
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
Liaise with external legal counsel on litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters
Oversee tax planning, assessments, and representation before tax authorities
Support corporate governance: board resolutions, ROC filings, secretarial compliance
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments with a compliance lens




Advise leadership on legal and financial risk in business decisions

Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
LLB or equivalent legal qualification/certification preferred
3+ years of experience handling both financial and legal/compliance functions
Strong knowledge of corporate law, taxation, and regulatory frameworks
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have
Company Secretary (CS) qualification
Experience with M&A; due diligence or tax litigation
Prior experience in a Big 4 firm, corporate legal team, or boutique advisory practice
