Job description:
Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to LED lighting raw materials (LED chips, drivers, housings, PCBs, aluminum, wiring, packaging, etc.).
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/suppliers.
Negotiate price, payment terms, contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Maintain supplier database and ensure vendor compliance with quality & statutory requirements.
Coordinate with production, R&D;, and quality teams for timely availability of raw materials.
Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders as per demand forecast.
Track market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.




Build long-term vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations in all procurement activities.
Prepare MIS reports on procurement costs, vendor performance, and savings achieved.

Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of LED lighting industry materials & components.
Excellent negotiation & vendor management skills.
Understanding of supply chain management & inventory planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Positive communication & team coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
