The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and assigned workspaces to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable setting for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish assigned areas.
Replenish room supplies and housekeeping inventory.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
Follow cleaning schedules and hotel/company SOPs.
Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Support deep-cleaning activities and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school/PUC or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of housekeeping experience in hotels, hospitals, or commercial facilities.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
Ability to work adaptable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Valuable communication skills and a positive attitude.
