Key Responsibilities
Safely transport and deliver materials to customers and project sites.
Load, unload, and secure materials properly before transportation.
Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with delivery schedules.
Verify delivery documents, invoices, and customer acknowledgements.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in positive working condition.
Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries.
Assist with warehouse or loading activities when required.
Requirements
Valid LMV/HMV driving licence (as applicable).
Proven driving experience in commercial or goods transportation preferred.
Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
Ability to lift and handle materials when necessary.
Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
Basic reading and writing skills to manage delivery documents.
Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
Preferred Skills
Experience in material supply, logistics, or distribution.
Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours when required.
