Job Responsibilities
Provide quality nursing care to IP and OP patients.
Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain accurate nursing records.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, surgeries, and emergencies.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgical procedures.
Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols.
Educate patients and their attendants on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain nursing documentation, patient charts, and medication records.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Handle emergency situations efficiently and provide basic life support when required. These responsibilities align with common GNM staff nurse roles in Indian hospitals.
