Key Responsibilities
Design and develop sheet metal components and fabrication assemblies.
Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
Create 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidEdge/SolidWorks.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and fabrication documentation.
Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and manufacturing standards.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams for design clarification and implementation.
Review drawings and implement design modifications as required.
Support prototype development and production activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidEdge or SolidWorks.
Ability to independently prepare fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
Positive understanding of sheet metal processes, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing practices.
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering drawing standards.
Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
