It is an account manager’s responsibility to address customers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain solid relationships. They typically work with multiple small accounts or a few larger ones. As the main point of contact for many clients, they are in the business of customer service and may be involved in upselling and cross-selling products and services.
