Hospital Housekeeping Attendant / Housekeeping Associate
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital workplace by cleaning patient rooms, wards, operating areas, offices, corridors, and public spaces. The role supports infection prevention and ensures patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Change bed linens and replenish supplies as assigned.
Collect, segregate, and dispose of general and biomedical waste according to hospital protocols.
Clean and disinfect medical equipment and furniture as instructed.
Maintain cleanliness of elevators, staircases, corridors, and administrative areas.




Refill soap dispensers, hand sanitizers, tissues, and other housekeeping supplies.
Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Follow infection control procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning situations, such as spills or contamination.
Maintain records or checklists of completed cleaning tasks, if required.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
