PPC Engineer

Job Description

The PPC Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery, optimum resource utilization, and productive inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
Develop and monitor production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
Monitor material availability and coordinate procurement to avoid production delays.
Track work orders and ensure smooth production flow.
Maintain production planning records, BOMs, routing sheets, and production reports.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Analyze production capacity and optimize machine and manpower utilization.
Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
Follow up on pending orders and ensure on-time completion.
Prepare MIS reports on production status, efficiency, and delivery performance.
Ensure adherence to production targets,



quality standards, and safety procedures.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding production schedules and delivery timelines.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.

Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in Production Planning & Control
(Freshers may be considered for trainee roles).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Understanding of BOM, Routing, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Control.
