We are having an urgent opening for the position of Dy Manager – IT/Digital Transformations for a reputed company in the Kolkata location.
Lead the operations of existing automation tools and manage end-to-end development & implementation of current automation tools Purpose of
Reporting structure
- Reports to Sr Manager of Digital transformations
- Supported by executives
Background & Experience
- 3-5 years of work experience in automation tools preferably in FMCG
- Hands-on experience of working with Web development tool, SQL, API/data integration etc. Also, knowledge of SharePoint, PowerApps, Python preferred.
- Experience in managing SaaS based applications (i.e. HRMS, CRM, eProcurement etc), and master data preferably in FMCG sector
Skills, Abilities & Knowhow:
- Deep understanding of automation tools, software development methodologies, programming languages and databases
- Complete knowledge of requirements gathering, design, development, testing & deployment
- Functional knowledge of various testing methodologies and metrices to measure the success
- Understanding of different cloud platforms and scripting languages
- Managing multiple stakeholders and vendors
Tasks & Accountabilities:
- Implement new automation solutions to minimize costs, generate revenues, improve productivity, facilitate data collection etc.
- Track the performance of day-to-day operations of existing tools
- Address any problems arising in existing tools within SLA
- Work closely with vendors to develop new features in existing tools, drive small changes and customization based on company requirement
- Prepare a project plan for development of new automation tool and work with vendors to deliver it within timelines and budget
- Tracking project actual costs and timelines vs budget and identify variances to plan
- Plan and implement mitigation activities to ensure project is delivered on time and of quality
